A special appeal from Joel Hitchcock:

My dear brother or sister, as I sit down to write this letter, I am almost at a loss for words.

I will turn 41 years old this year ( Dec 5, 2009 ,) and so far, I can honestly say that the blessing and the favor of my Savior has truly been upon my life. I could go on and on and recount one victory story after another, but I think the reports at www.joelhitchcock.com.com will suffice for now.

As I look forward to the next 40 years of my life, I am met with a sense of urgency. It seems that there is so much undone. For example, our largest crusade so far had about 40,000 or more in attendance, and although I am thankful to the Lord of the Harvest that He had entrusted me with almost this many people several times over, I am also aware that I fall so far short of the goals that are set before me.

I would have wanted 100,000 souls to have made a decision for Christ in each of 12 crusades (1.2 million) more than five years ago already. But reality is that right now I am still far from accomplishing that goal, never mind the larger goals, such as winning a million or more souls for the Lord in each crusade.

I also know that sometimes the Lord delays our successes so that He can form better integrity and character in us. I can attest that I have been humbled by disappointments many times over, yet I feel that these setbacks, delays and disappointments have made me a better servant of my Lord. On the other hand, I think I am more equipped now than ever before to accomplish that for which He has called me.

I don't know who might ever read this short appeal, but I do pray that the Lord will orchestrate Divine Appointments between me and those who wish to support the Gospel. I strongly feel that there are those who have experienced the favor of God in their lives financially, and that somehow these financially blessed believers might be on the lookout for a servant of the Lord whom they may stand with financially. Pray with me if you will, that these great funders of the end time harvest will be connected with the God's laborers in the harvest, and that we will war for the souls of men together.

1 Corinthians 9:7 says:
Who goeth a warfare at his own charges? (KJV)
Who ever carries on war at his own charges? (DBY)
Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? (NIV)

May the Lord connect those who go with those who send. May the Lord connect you and me.

Forgive me for sharing my heart, but I will take the liberty to share more specific needs. I have organized them into five categories--from Big to Minute, then back to Extra Large:

First of five categories: “Operation Big”
$1,000,000.00 (For one single nation wide crusade)

Second of five categories: “Operation Medium”
$100,000.00 (For the next larger city wide crusade)

Third of five categories: “Operation Small”
$25,000.00 (For the next smaller city wide crusade)
$50,000.00 (For the ministry to just break even right now)

Fourth of five categories: “Operation Minute”
$1,700.00 for a video editing laptop (Mac)
$1,000.00 for video editing software (Final Cut Pro)
$1,400.00 for a traveling laptop (13" Mac)
$1,000.00 to purchase 10 bicycles for native evangelists in India
$1,500.00 for smaller missions trip to Honduras (December 2009 TBC)
$3,500.00 for smaller crusade to Namibia (March 2009 TBC)

Fifth of five categories: “Operation Extra Large”
The Operations in the first four categories are somewhat transitionary. My ultimate desire is to hold 12 crusades each year, winning at least million people to Jesus in each crusade and sometimes ten million or more in a single crusade. Some might consider this a fairy tale, but I truly believe that with the current accelerated global population increase, numbers that seem unreal to us now, will be very realistic in the next few years. If we have not already accomplished very real greater than average feats in evangelism, I can understand how someone might think that we are not living in reality. But the truth is that we have indeed held very large soul winning and healing events, and that these events prove that the impossible is not only possible, but has actually been accomplished.

We also believe that we will hold larger events right here in the United States also.
