Have you ever thought how great is would be to find God. You would go anywhere and do anything if you knew you coudl find Him. My friend, God did not intend for it to be hard to receive eternal life or salvation. God is more eager for us to be saved than we can imagine.
I just want to ask you real quick:
Do you know that God loves you and He has a wonderful plan for your life?
Another question: If you were to die THIS VERY SECOND, do you know FOR SURE, beyond a SHADOW OF A DOUBT, that you will DEFINITELY go to heaven?
Yes or No
If you said "Yes", how do you know that? Here are some examples: - "I'm a good person"
- "My family are church going people"
- "My uncle (or any kin) is a minister"
- "I go to church"
- "Everyone is saved"
"I just know where I'm going"
My friend, if you answered any of the above or something similar, according to the Bible, you cannot know for sure that you have eternal life.
Let me quickly share with you what the Bible says: •“For all have sinned (everyone's a sinner, right?) and come short of the glory of God.”
• “For the wages of sin is death (the lake of fire), and
• “the unbelieving … shall have their part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone” ... ”
and we are saved
• “not of yourselves, not of works…”• “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord,” and
• “He that hath the Son (in your heart) hath life” and
• “Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”
(Romans 3:23 , 6:23 , Revelation 20: 14, 15 & 21:8, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 5:11-13, Romans 10:13,)
And you're a “whosoever,” right? Of course you are, all of us are. Lord God , bless my friend with a long and healthy life. Jesus, make Yourself real to him/her and do a quick work in his/her heart. Let him/her have assurance of salvation or receive You into his/her life this very moment.
My friend, Just pray this prayer after me, and mean every word: "Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I need you as my Savior. I invite You to come into my heart. Wash away my sins with Your precious Blood. I accept You as my Savior and as my Lord. Thank You for accepting me. Please give me Your Holy Spirit power to help me serve You for the rest of my life. I mean this prayer from the bottom of my heart. In Jesus Name Amen."
My friend, you mean that prayer? Yes or No
I believe you did. And according to God's Word, you are now forgiven and on your way to heaven. Find yourself a good Spirit filled church, be baptized, read your Bible, and live a holy life that is pleasing to God.
