TENT'S TEST CRUSADE COMPLETED!

Praise be the the LORD! Look what the Lord has done!

*The Great Tent is now built! More than 20,000 sq ft big, 40 ft tall.

*The first "test" crusade was held in Centreville MD

*We have a state of the art sound system -- BOSE speakers etc

*1,000 chairs have just been purchased! Nice strong ones "Lifetime" brand name.

*Trailer is purchased. 48' semi van.

In partnership with the Centreville Community Church of God in Maryland and it's pastor, my good friend Dan Southern we had the opportunity to test the tent out. How glad I am that we tested it out first! It took us two and a half days with an average of 5-8 people helping. Now that we have done it once, I am sure we can do it in less than a day, and even faster if we have 50 people helping.

Centreville Community Church held a "community day" with games for kids, Christian bands etc. It drew about 1,000 people throughout the day. We held our revival the next day throughout the week, and did we work! The attendance was around 50 people per night, and one night we had 70. This is a lot more than attended our regular revival we held at this church a year ago, without the tent. Of course the tent was way bigger than we needed for Centreville, but it gave us a chance to test the tent out. It rained, we had isues, we straightened out issues with the tent, we had the wrong poles in the wrong holes! But now all that is sorted out, and we are getting ready to hold a bigger crusade in Asheboro NC. See www.1assembly.org for more information. It will be held October 15 through 20. The location of the event will be on the corner of Spero and Route 220S. (Take Rt 220 south from Greensboro NC, then take the Spero Rd exit. You will see the property right there.

We will set up the tent and equipment October 13 and 14 and take it down October 21, unless the revival is extended. PLEASE HELP US TO SET UP THE TENT. Every man and woman can have an appropriate job, and together we can set this tent up easily.

Do we have other needs? Yes. We still need a decent generator, lighting system, platform and finances for the BIG CRUSADE that we will hold one of these days. If about 60 people give $1,000.00 each, all these needs will be met. May God bless you! From Joel Hitchcock.
