THE MINISTRY OF JOEL AND HEIDI HITCHCOCK
Joel Hitchcock remembers saying yes to the call of God upon his life at the age of eight. He started preaching regularly on a free lance basis when he was twelve years old. After graduating from High School Hans Strijdom in Naboomspruit, South Africa, he completed four years of Formal Theological Education at Berea Theological College and the University of South Africa. He entered the full time ministry in 1990 as a Chaplain in the South African Army.
In 1991 the Lord led him to minister as an international evangelist. His ministry is registered in the State of Delaware and with the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) non profit evangelistic corporation. Joel Hitchcock Ministries is committed to be a blessing to the whole body of Christ regardless of denomination or country. Joel is ordained by the Church of God (Cleveland TN) and reports monthly to it's State and International offices, while still ministering amongst the whole body of Christ. As many as 40,000 people have attended a single service and 100,000 a four day crusade to hear his message and witness first hand the many healing miracles that occur after the preaching of the Word. Joel believes the Body of Christ continues His work by the anointed preaching of the Word with signs following. Joel preaches to smaller country churches, larger city churches and to multitudes in crusades with the same passion. The ministry also now has a 20,400 square foot gospel tent, that is being used for great revival crusades across the USA.
Joel is married to Heidi and they now have four children: Anthony (8), Rebekah (6), Timothy (2), and Trey (1 week.) Heidi has a heart for reaching out to Rehoboth Beach DE. She graduated from Liberty University with a BA degree in Telecommunications. She also completed her Diploma in Theology at the World College of Theology. After working for LeSea Broadcasting in Hawaii, Joel and Heidi also launched their own television program in Delaware. Their television program was also broadcast nationally on SkyAngel every Sunday at 11 pm Pacific time (2 am Eastern) on the "Faith TV" channel. The radio and television ministry has been temporarily put on the back burner while they are focusing more on tent crusades in the USA and mass crusades internationally. They hope to relaunch a national/international television ministry again in 2007/8. JHM produces numerous audio and video tape, CD and DVD albums and Joel has written three books. As a full time traveling evangelist Joel's heart cry is that the Church in America and abroad will be revived and that a Great Awakening will occur that will cause multitudes to be swept into the Kingdom of God.

The most memorable time was when he stopped in the middle of his sermon and asked an 83 year man if he knew Jesus Christ. The man said no and Joel led him to Jesus. This man had been involved in Jehovah Witness for over thirty years. His wife had been praying for him all those years and just insisted that he come to church with her that night. A few weeks later the man developed Alzheimer and six months later went home to be with the Lord. I have witnessed many miraculous healings in Joel's services.
