For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. That ancient prophecy in Habakkuk 2:14 is being fulfilled every day in the way our Lord and Savior Jesus said it would be in Mark 16:15-20. Joel Hitchcock Ministries is actively going into all the world, preaching the Gospel, the Lord working with them, confirming the Word with signs following.

In this video I would like to briefly share the vision of Joel Hitchcock Ministries, what we have accomplished, and where we are heading. I remember saying yes to the call of God upon my life at the tender age of eight. When I was ten, I prayed the prayer of salvation and asked Jesus to come live in my heart. And when I was twelve, I preached my first message in the outback of South Africa 's beautiful Waterberg region.

As a teenager I was part of a small spiritual awakening in our high school. I also used to witness by carrying a 12 foot cross in public, and once walked into a political rally, was given the microphone and I preached the Gospel to them. I received my license to preach upon my graduation from Berea Theological College and ministered as a chaplain when drafted into the South African army.

In 1991 I set off to travel the world and have been operating as an evangelist every since. I have preached the Gospel in almost 40 nations. Whether it was to a few souls or in a mass crusade, a passion for my Savior has burnt like a raging fire in my soul.

The topics of my messages have included the wide spectrum of teachings in God's perfect Book, the Bible, the Word of God—salvation, holiness, healing, miracles, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, prosperity and provision, the anointing, the glory, the Shekinah Presence of God, worship, the second coming, heaven, hell and everything in between. But at the core of my messages lies the fundamental message of the virgin birth, the sinless life, the atoning death and the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Eternal, God in the flesh.

I have written several books—One Almighty Mediator, The Wonder of Jesus, The Manifestation of Christ in You, the Revival and Great Awakening of the Last Days, Yahweh Yireh, the Divine Healing Prayer Book and the Financial Prosperity Prayer Book, and other books are still in the making. Other books in the writing are The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the Inspiration of the Bible, the Blood of Jesus, Revelations on Healing, the Adamic Authority of the Believer, What happened between the Cross and the Resurrection and several mini books.

Joel Hitchcock Ministries has also produced several CD and DVD products, and operates a vast Internet Television Broadcast on Youtube, Metacafe, Dailymotion, MySpace, Yahoo and Veoh, with viewers from all over the world. Joel Hitchcock Ministries has a board of directors from different Pentecostal/charismatic backgrounds. I am personally ordained with the Church of God ( Cleveland TN) and minister across denominational lines.

Many thousands of souls have been ministered to face to face, perhaps millions more by the Internet, radio and television. Our international miracle crusades have drawn almost 50,000 people in a single service and 100,000 over the course of a single crusade. Tent or Open air crusades have been held in Canada, the United States, Venezuala, Cameroon, all over Southern Africa, Pakistan, Northern India and Central India, such as Warangal, Hyderabad, Kothagudhem and Miryalguda. For a couple of seconds, watch some footage of these massive crowds of God-hungry souls, reaching out to Jesus as their Savior and Healer.

Admittedly, not everyone I pray for appears to be healed right away, but many are, such as the blind, the deaf, the mute, the lame or those in pain. Even mentally retarded people have testified of their healing, and those bound by demonic powers have been delivered. We continue to push the limits and pursue the wonders of the miraculous displays of the healing and delivering power of God.

It is my intense desire to raise the level of our ministry and international crusades. The veteran Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke once gave me an opportunity to preach a short message to one half of a million people in attendance in Africa. 1.2 million people were saved in that crusade. I pray that soon Joel Hitchcock Ministries too shall go from winning souls by the tens of thousands to winning souls by the hundreds of thousands, and that even millions of souls will make a decision for Christ in our crusades, considering that the population of the world is growing at such an accelerated rate.

We also are praying for a powerful national and international television ministry to open up for us. The costs for this kind of ministry is staggering, but we stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief, but we are strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He is able also to perform (Roman 4:20-21.)

By my side is Heidi, my American born and raised wife and fellow minister for 15 years, who has blessed me with four beautiful children—Anthony, Rebekah, Timothy and Trey—all evangelists in the making. We reside in the United States from where we operate our international ministry.

This is what we do—preaching the Covenant—the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the earth shall indeed be "filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea..." the Lord working with us, "confirming the Word with signs following,"... "and there was great joy in the city..."

Evangelist Joel Hitchcock (“Brother Joel”) was born of South African parents in England in 1968. Upon arriving back in South Africa in 1970, Joel was raised in South Africa 's “outback” close to Naboomspruit, in the far northern Transvaal. Being convicted about the omniscience of God at the age of eight, he decided to become a minister of the Gospel. He officially gave his heart to Jesus when he was ten, and preached his first message to approx. 100 people when he was 12. At age 13 he read through his Bible from cover to cover and was led to set apart a day to fasting and prayer. At the end of the day, he heard the voice of the Lord saying "My son, I have called you to be an evangelist..." He has never strayed from this call.

After his involvement in a mini revival at school, he graduated from High School in 1986, and pursued full time ministerial studies at Berea Theological College and at the University of South Africa. In 1990 and 1991 he ministered as a chaplain when he was drafted into the South African army. After his chaplaincy, he started traveling as a full time international evangelist to almost countries.

He travels included the United States, where in 1995 he met and married Heidi, with whom he had a three and a quarter year pen pal relationship. They have four children—Anthony (11), Rebekah (9), Timothy (5) and Trey (3).

Heidi had graduated from Liberty University in Richmond VA, majoring in telecommunications. She assisted her local pastor--Ray Chamberlain in Salisbury MD by editing his television broadcast, and also broadcast her own youth program. She then worked for Lester Sumrall Evangelistic Association in Hawaii from 1992 till 1994. She also completed her Diploma in Theology at the World College of Theology.

Joel and Heidi broadcasted their radio and television programs for several years, including SkyAngel. Together they have traveled ministering to the nations of the world. Joel's largest crusade attracted more than 40,000 people in a singe service in India , although others estimated the size of the crowd to be 200,000 strong. Multitudes thronged his crusades in Africa, Venezuela, Pakistan and India. Joel has a vision to win 100,000 souls each month. After the fulfillment of this vision, he wants to win 10 million souls in 10 years, and 100 million souls in his lifetime. He believes the day will come that 10 million souls may be saved in a single crusade.

Joel also emphasizes the power of signs and wonders in his meetings, in addition to preaching the fundamentals of the Bible, such as The Blood of Jesus, The Cross, The Birth, Life, Miracles, Death, Resurrection and Second Coming of Jesus, the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, etc. Many have testified of their healing from deafness, muteness, blindness, paralysis and other afflictions—many of which are captured on video.

Joel Hitchcock Ministries has produced numerous DVDs and CDs, and Joel has written several books: “The Revival and Great Awakening of Last Days,” “Mass Crusades,” “Signs and Wonders,” "The Wonder of Jesus" and "The Wonder of Christ in You."

His ministry is registered in the State of Delaware and with the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) non profit evangelistic corporation. His ministry files a return to the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Government each year.

Joel Hitchcock Ministries believes that the Church and the Kingdom of God is not limited to just one denomination, and therefore ministers across denominational bounderies in the USA and abroad.

Still, Joel believes that it is very important for pastors and evangelists and other type ministries to be accountable. Joel is ordained by the Church of God ( Cleveland TN ) and reports monthly to its State and International offices.

JOEL HITCHCOCK MINISTRIES STATEMENT OF FAITH
(Adopted from the Church of God, Cleveland TN)

We believe:

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible

2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor

3. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins

4. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

5. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost

6. Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people

7. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart

8. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost

9. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

10. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement

11. In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet

12. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years

13. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
