Greetings to you today in the Name of Jesus!

It is with great joy that I can report to you today, that we have now held our SECOND United States of American GREAT AWAKENING REVIVAL tent crusade! (The first crusade was a smaller test crusade in Centreville MD, and this second one was in Asheboro NC, sponsored by the First Assembly of God, and supported by the Church of God, New Life Family Worship Center (a Spirit Filled Quaker (Brethren) church!), a local Spanish church, a church from Greensboro NC, etc.

This time we had about 40 people with three BobCats helping. We got the tent up in a day and a half, and spent another day setting up the chairs, platform, lights, etc. It took three hours to take the tent down with 50 people helping and another seven hours to pack it into the trailer, with the help of three BobCats and a big thing called a "Lul." What a blessing it was to see people helping like that. Thank you everyone that helped.

It was all worth it when about 250 people attended the Sunday evening's meeting. We also counted about 100 on Monday, 99 on Tuesday, 180 on Wednesday, and about 120 on Friday and Saturday. What I really liked was the "crusade atmosphere" in the tent. It felt like I was on a platform in India, Africa or South America. It was glorious. I preached the Word with all the passion I could muster, and God was faithful confirming the Word with signs following.

About 10 people made a decision for Christ. Another 20 or so backsliders came back to the Lord. About 50 had sin in their life that was a hindrance between them and God and they received forgiveness. At least 3 were baptised into the Holy Spirit, worshiping God in a heavenly language. Many, yes many were healed, as you will see in the pictures.

Another great blessing was that my uncle and veteran evangelist John Hitchcock flew over to help me preach and minister. Uncle John is my father's brother. He is 66 years old and has been in the ministry for 37 years. He used to be plagued with a very severe stutter, until he was filled with the Holy Spirit at age 26. Since then, even though he would still stutter in normal life, he would be fluent every time the anointing came upon him and he would preach fluently.

Uncle John used to be a tent evangelist in South Africa. He even restitched a whole tent and built most of it himself. I felt led to have him come over and minister with me. What a blessing that proved to be. He preached under the anointing as always, and ministered in the power of the Spirit. One man testified that while Uncle John preached, a growth protruding about a half inch from his chin diminished! Another lady had a ring worm on the side of her face, and when she went home she looked in the mirror, and it was all gone! One of the most wonderful miracles was when Uncle John prayed for a girl who had a stutter. While she was telling us what she needed prayer for, she was really stuttering. I asked Uncle John to pray for her, which he did with great compassion. After prayer, she talked absolutely and totally fluent, with tears of joy and God's presence streaming down her face! She came back two more nights and each night "talked" for us--still completely healed. To Jesus be all the glory.

 

Another wonderful thing was the unity that was evident among the pastors who supported the crusade. One pastor described the tent meetings as a "Kingdom thing," and not some event where only one church or denomation is benefitted. They took turns reading the opening Scripture, praying, sharing a Word before the offering, let their praise and worship teams minister, and also prayed with seekers in the altar call. Thank you Pastors for receiving me and for giving me an opportunity to minister to your city.

As I close this writing today, I also wish to say thank you to everyone who so faithfully helped us to get this whole tent system together. Some gave little and some gave much, and the Lord used it and worked a miracle. Please also be in prayer for our following needs:

1. Regular operating finances to get through the winter months of November, December and January,

2. 80 kilowatt generator, and vehicle to transport it,

3. Funds and direction for the next tent crusade in the USA,

4. Funds and direction for our crusades around the world in 2007. I already have to send money over in December for our crusade in March 2007 in Venezuela.
